AppLoved is an independent software directory operated under the AppLoved name. This policy applies to apploved.com, AppLoved accounts, community reviews, app submissions, and related support or moderation activity.

AppLoved is not affiliated with AppLovin Corporation or with a listed product or company unless a page expressly says otherwise.

The information we process depends on whether you browse, create an account, or contribute to the directory.

• Account and authentication data: name, email address, verification status, optional profile image, authentication provider, securely hashed password, session identifiers, session IP address, user agent, and account timestamps.
• Community activity: apps you love, reviews, ratings, pros and cons, use case, professional role, usage duration, recommendations, reports, and moderation records.
• App submissions: product name, website, descriptions, categories, platforms, pricing and license information, features, alternatives, logos, screenshots, submitter notes, and optional contact email.
• Operational data: security events, rate-limit records, audit logs for privileged actions, and messages you send to us.

We use Rybbit through traffic.myhostzone.top to understand traffic across public pages. It may process pages viewed, page titles, referrers, entry and exit pages, session duration, browser and operating system, screen and device type, campaign parameters, and country or region derived temporarily from an IP address. Rybbit states that the IP address itself is not stored and that its analytics do not use cookies or local storage.

Depending on our Rybbit settings, we may also collect outbound-link events, technical errors, Core Web Vitals, or privacy-masked session replay. AppLoved configures all form inputs to be masked and excludes dashboard and administration routes from analytics. We do not use this analytics data for cross-site advertising and do not sell it.

We process information to provide accounts, authenticate users, publish and moderate useful directory content, prevent abuse, protect the service, communicate about accounts and submissions, improve performance and navigation, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims.

• Contract or steps requested by you, when processing is needed to provide an account or requested feature.
• Legitimate interests in operating, securing, measuring, and improving an independent directory.
• Consent where applicable, including optional third-party account connections.
• Legal obligations and the protection of users, AppLoved, and the public.

AppLoved uses essential, secure authentication cookies to keep signed-in sessions working. A session normally expires after seven days and may be refreshed while you use the service. These cookies are necessary for requested account features.

The theme control stores your light or dark preference in browser local storage. Rybbit analytics is configured separately and does not require analytics cookies.

Approved reviews and app submissions may be published publicly with the contributor name and relevant review context. Do not include confidential or unnecessary personal information in public contributions.

We may use infrastructure, database, analytics, email, security, and authentication providers to operate AppLoved. If you choose Google or GitHub sign-in, that provider processes the login under its own terms. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business reorganization with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

We keep account data while the account is active; short-lived session and verification data until it expires; contributions while they remain useful, published, or necessary for moderation; and security or audit records for a proportionate period. Analytics is retained according to our configured Rybbit retention period. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal and security requirements.

We use access controls, encrypted transport, secure password hashing, restricted administration, and monitoring intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Providers or users may be located in other countries; where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

You can block the analytics script with browser controls without losing core public access. Account deletion or content requests may be limited where retention is required for security, legal obligations, or the integrity of published discussions.

AppLoved is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. If you believe a child provided personal information unlawfully, contact us.

We may update this policy when our service, providers, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised date here and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
